DESCRIPTION
These cookies are made with all natural ingredients and sweetened with maple syrup then topped with your choice of fruit preserve. A great snack for adults or children if you’re trying to make healthier choices.
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup(s) Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
1 Cup(s) Almonds, grinded
1 Cup(s) Rolled Oats, grinded
Pinch Sea Salt
¼ Tea Spoon(s) Ground Cinnamon
½ Cup(s) Olive Oil
½ Cup(s) Maple Syrup
1 Tea Spoon(s) Vanilla Extract
1 As Needed Jar of Fruit Preserves (Raspberry is used)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a bowl, mix dry ingredients together: flour, ground almonds, ground oats, salt and cinnamon
In another bowl, mix wet ingredients together: maple syrup and vanilla
Add dry and wet ingredients together until just combined
Using an ice cream scoop, shape dough into a golfball size
Place on cookie sheet lined with non-stick parchment paper
Press down on each cookie to flatten cookie then make a thumbprint indentation and fill with fruit preserves
Bake for 20 minutes in oven
